Videos and a Funny Story

K, I know this is long and at the end Ryder falls off the chair and Greg yells at me to help him, but it's cute. Lainey is starved for attention in this video as well, it's hard to be the big sister sometimes. We love you Lainey.

Lainey's was so cute when she sang the Preschool Graduation Song. She's the loudest one. I love it. She is the best singer.

So, you Mommy's out there probably know, that sometime kids will go through a faze of not telling the truth. Lainey has been telling little fibs lately, so I've been having lots of talks with her about what a lie is and what the truth is. Up until the other day I didn't think it was sinking into her brain, but Greg proved me wrong:

Greg and Lainey were alone together and Greg decided to pass gas. This is their conversation:

Lainey: "Dad, did you toot?"

Greg: "No, it wasn't me."

Lainey: "Well then who was it?"

Greg: "I don't know, maybe it was you."

Lainey: "No, it wasn't me Dad.

Greg: "Maybe it was my shoe squeeking."

Lainey: "Dad, that's a lie, your not telling the truth. You need to tell the truth."

Greg (completely caught off guard and feeling slightly guilty:) "Yeah, you're right Lainey, I wasn't telling the truth. It was me. I'm sorry.
