Song by me "What You See"

I'm learning to have confidence in my singing/songwriting goals. It's hard to post myself singing and hard to feel like my songs are worth showing people, but the more I pursue music, the more I realize I shouldn't hide any talent that I have. So here's me posting another song. Every time I do, it's a little uncomfortable, but all of my friends and family believe in me and encourage me, so I try not to be shy about it.

This song was inspired by my little girl. I love watching her pretend to be a princess and how she really truly knows she is beautiful. I wondered why that changes in us women. When we are little girls, we don't care what other people think, we all think we are pretty princesses, but as we grow up we constantly compare ourselves to others and to what the world perceives as beautiful. It's something I think we all are trying to work on. But wouldn't it be easier if we could all see what He sees? Is that really achievable? On my "feeling bad about myself days," sometimes it doesn't feel like I'll ever get over looking at all of my flaws. But I'm trying to understand what Heavenly Father sees when he looks at me, and not care about anything else. I hope this song inspires all who hear it.
